Rosalia
Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia is a Spanish Pop/Flamenco singer. From her teens, she's been involved with the edges of classical and pop music. Additionally, she explores genres including hip-hop, trap and soul. Flamenco guitarist Pepe habichuela has described her voice as delicate and sharp, but still with the bite of older singers. El Mal Querer was her significant commercial breakthrough and critical success in the year 2018. The single Los Angeles garnered her attention as well as a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist It also topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she received a Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd, was released in 2021. Motomami was a collaboration with numerous artists such as Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. The set was released following Saturday Night Live's show Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the first Spanish singer to sing as a solo performer on the show. Motomami Rosala, in addition to winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award two times, was the first female to be awarded both.
