Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. As a child, she was inspired by Boleros, classical music and the classic romantic, ranchero, as well as romance ballads. Ana is passionate about opera and tangos, as well as all dramatic performances. Her mother teaches her how to sing, but she started more intense vocal training by Flavio Belcerra when she was just 16 years old. the singer was famous as a Mexican opera singer and tenor. She furthered her training in music through the School of Music of Guadalajara University and later at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In her early career, she included performances with a variety of chamber ensembles and opera choruses and chamber groups in Guadalajara. When she moved to America, United States, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. After 2002, she made her way to Southern California. She currently is a part of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer with classical Latin American music at private occasions. The love she has for performing, music, and the arts keeps her involved in local activities for both an artist as well as a instructor. Ana has also been a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana appreciates being able to share her passion and passion of the traditional Latin American songs with others and, in the process hopes to inspire a passion particularly among the younger generation to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
